How do I install my U.S. Brax eSIM?

Using this guide we'll show you how to activate your Brax Mobile U.S. eSIM from your account and how to proceed with installation on your relevant device on either iOS (iPhone) or Android.

Before proceeding with the installation and activation steps below ensure the device you wish to activate your eSIM on is connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection and that you have sufficient battery charge of over 25% on your mobile device to ensure successful installation.

To install and activate your Brax Mobile U.S. eSIM please follow these steps:
  1. Access your account at braxsim.brax.me
  2. From the 'Home' page select 'Plans' on the left and then from the dropdown select 'My Plans'
  3. On the line you wish to activate you'll see the action 'Activate' to proceed. 
    1. You'll also see the option to activate your eSIM from the banner above your plans 'Activate your SIM', select the arrow to proceed.
  4. On the eSIM activation page select the plan and associated number you wish to activate your eSIM for:

Before scanning your QR code make sure you're ready to proceed as attempting to scan the QR code unsuccessfully multiple times will void the QR code requiring a new one to be provided to you by Brax Mobile support.

You'll be presented with two options to install your eSIM on your device. We'll go over both installation options for both iOS (iPhone) and Android below:

Scan QR code

Selecting this option will generate a QR code and is the easiest and most preferred method. Using your mobile device you wish to activate the eSIM on please use your built in camera to scan the QR code. You will be prompted to proceed with installation and activation of your eSIM.

Enter code manually

If you're unable to install the eSIM via QR code by default you can also select the option to install the eSIM with the code provided by Brax Mobile manually.

Seeing a "SIM Removed" or Failure Messages message or error after scanning? Don't panic, wait up to an hour and the SIM should show up.

Installing the Brax Mobile U.S. eSIM on your iPhone device manually and via QR code

  1. Open Settings: Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions).

  2. Add eSIM: Tap Add eSIM (or Add Cellular Plan on older iOS versions).

  3. Choose Setup Method: Tap Use QR Code at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Enter Details Manually: On the camera scanning screen, tap Enter Details Manually at the very bottom.

  5. Input Carrier Info:

    • SM-DP+ Address: Type or paste the address provided (e.g., rsp.global-lt.com).

    • Activation Code: Enter the unique alphanumeric string from Brax Mobile

    • Confirmation Code: Leave this blank unless Brax Mobile specifically gave you a 4-digit PIN for security.

  6. Complete Activation: Tap Next and follow the remaining prompts to label your new line (e.g., "Travel" or "Business").


Installing the Brax Mobile U.S. eSIM on your Samsung device manually and via QR code

  1. Go to Settings > Connections.

  2. Tap SIM manager.

  3. Tap Add eSIM.

  4. Tap Scan QR code.

  5. On the scanning screen, tap Enter activation code (located at the bottom).

  6. Type or paste in the code provided by Brax Mobile.


Installing the Brax Mobile U.S. eSIM on your Pixel or other stock Android device manually and via QR code

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet.

  2. Tap the + (plus) icon next to SIMs or Mobile Network.

  3. Tap Download a SIM instead? (or "Set up an eSIM").

  4. When the camera opens to scan a QR code, tap Need help? at the bottom.

  5. On the next screen, tap Enter it manually.

  6. Input your Activation Code and follow the prompts to finish.


You've now successfully installed your Brax Mobile U.S. eSIM!
